STAPLES has announced that its partnership with AIR MILES will end on July 1, 2022. Here are the details.
No more AIR MILES at Staples
After the bad news that Empire Group grocery stores (including Sobeys) were leaving AIR MILES by early 2023, STAPLES is announcing that it will do the same.
As of July 1st, STAPLES customers will no longer be able to collect or use their AIR MILES Miles on purchases made:
- at Staples Stores
- online at staples.com
- staplespreferred.ca
- shop.staplescopyandprint.ca
However, you will still be able to earn AIR MILES Reward Miles via the airmileshops.ca platform.
Staples Rewards Program
Small businesses will continue to receive preferred pricing through Staples ‘ Preferred Program.
While for teachers and educators, the teacher membership program will still be in effect.
Then, a credit card like the American Express Business Edge™ Card can make the most of your rewards for a faster earning rate at Staples. With that card, you’ll earn 3X the points on office supply purchases, like at Staples!
Conclusion
This certainly affects the credibility of AIR MILES and Collectors may begin to lose confidence in their program.
