Reservations can be made for travel starting April 3, 2023 from New York to Montreal and April 4, 2023 from Montreal to New York.

One of the most dazzling train experiences in the world is available in economy class! The price of a one-way train ticket from Montreal to New York ranges from $70 USD to $102 USD.

The route is 613 kilometers long and the train stops at 17 stations. Before suspending operations for three years due to the pandemic, it carried approximately 120,000 passengers per year. Small pets are allowed and seats are not reserved.

Reservations must be made through the Amtrak website or mobile app, which is available in both English and French. Another option is to call for reservations at 1-800-USA-RAIL.

For the moment, the Via Rail site refers us to the Amtrak site for booking trips.
