Two years after Plaza Premium airport lounges were withdrawn from the program, they are once again available to Priority Pass members.
Plaza Premium lounges return to the Priority Pass network
Just two years ago, Priority Pass announced the list of 57 Plaza Premium lounges removed from the network worldwide. Canada was struck, with 15 Plaza Premium lounges becoming inaccessible in Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton.
Today, Priority Pass is announcing the gradual reintegration of most of the Plaza Premium lounges that had been removed from the network in two stages:
- June 6, 2023: 39 Plaza Premium lounges will rejoin the Priority Pass network, including 15 Plaza Premium lounges in North America, including Toronto and Vancouver.
- June 20, 2023: 24 more Plaza Premium lounges will rejoin the Priority Pass network, including Plaza Premium lounges in Australia, Asia and Europe

Credit cards offering access to Plaza Premium lounges
In Canada, all Mastercard and Visa credit cards that previously offered access to the Priority Pass lounge network have been transferred to the DragonPass lounge network.
This is the case, for example, with these popular travel credit cards:

- CIBC Aventura® Gold Visa* Card: 4 complimentary annual visits
- BMO Ascend World Elite Mastercard 4 complimentary annual visits
- Scotiabank Passport™ Visa Infinite* Card 6 complimentary annual visits
- TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Credit Card: 6 complimentary annual visits
Regarding American Express Canada Cards and the Scotiabank Platinum American Express® Card, these cards already offer direct access to Plaza Premium lounges (without the need for Priority Pass):
- American Express® Gold Rewards Card: 4 complimentary annual visits in Canada
- Scotiabank Platinum American Express® Card: 10 complimentary annual visits worldwide
- Platinum Card®: Unlimited access worldwide
- Business Platinum Card® from American Express: Unlimited access worldwide
And that includes the Air France lounge at Montreal-Trudeau!
As you can see, if you need more than four annual visits in Canada or ten annual visits worldwide, we recommend that you opt for one of the two American Express Canada Platinum cards, which offer unlimited access worldwide.
