Air France: New routes and returns to several destinations for summer 2023

With the high demand for travel and the latest travel restrictions being lifted around the world, Air France is going all out!

This summer 2023 will be at the same level and with the same network as in 2019. Between April and October 2023, Air France will operate up to 835 flights a day to 191 destinations in 89 countries.

First, the direct flight from Quebec City (YQB) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) will resume on May 2, 2023, with five flights per week.

Then, starting June 27, 2023, there will be the inauguration of the new direct flight Ottawa (YOW) – Paris (CDG). This direct flight will also have a frequency of five flights per week.

In North America, Air France will have up to 180 flights per week to and from 14 destinations in the United States and 50 flights per week to five destinations in Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Toronto and Quebec City).

The reopening of China is gradually increasing flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Starting July 1st, there will be one daily flight per destination, for a total of 21 flights per week.

Also in Asia, Air France will continue to increase capacity to Tokyo, Japan. Up to 11 flights per week will be offered to Tokyo Haneda (HND) and 3 to Tokyo Narita (NRT).

For Africa, Air France will maintain capacity above 2019.

As of June 12, 2023, it will add Dar Es Salaam(Tanzania) to its network. Three flights per week will be operated by Boeing 787-9 from Zanzibar (Tanzania).

On the same date, service to Nairobi(Kenya) will become direct, with a daily flight by Boeing 787-9.

Air France continues to deploy its new long-haul cabins, installed on 12 Boeing 777 300 ERs. Already available to and from New York (JFK), Dakar and Rio, these very comfortable cabins will be offered on flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Johannesburg (South Africa), starting March 27, 2023.

Finally, in the Caribbean region, Air France will inaugurate a new direct service between Cayenne (French Guiana) and Belém (Brazil) on 5 May 2023, with a weekly flight operated by Airbus A320.

Air France will accompany its customers in their travel desires in France and Europe with up to 650 flights per day to and from 106 destinations.

In addition to its regular schedule, the company will have 66 seasonal routes in France and Europe, departing from Paris and French regional airports. These connections will allow to join in particular:

• Corsica (from Paris, Bordeaux, Caen, Rennes, Lille, Lyon and Nantes)
• Greece (from Paris, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse)
• Algeria (from Paris, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse)
• Morocco (from Paris and Nice)
• and Tunisia (from Paris, Marseille and Nice).

Transavia France, the Air France-KLM Group’s low-cost carrier, will operate nearly 200 short and medium-haul routes to 120 destinations this summer, including 100 to and from Paris-Orly.
