In March 2022, Air Canada and Aeromar announced an interline agreement. Now you can earn and redeem Aeroplan points for travel with Aeromar!
Founded 34 years ago, Aeromar is Mexico’s leading regional airline. It has 17 domestic and 4 international destinations.
Air Canada and Aeromar have an interline partnership between the destinations served by Air Canada and Mexican destinations.
So travellers can book seats on both airlines on a single-ticketed itinerary. In addition, they enjoy the benefits of seamless check-in, boarding and baggage transfer throughout their trip.
From Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Halifax, Air Canada flies to seven destinations in Mexico:

Redeem Aeroplan points for Aeromar flights
Here are the details you need to know about booking Aeroplan award tickets on Aeromar:
- Flights are priced according to Aeroplan’s airline partner pricing
- Members will be able to book Aeromar flights on aircanada.com, on the Air Canada mobile app or through the Aeroplan Centre
- These flights may be combined with flights operated by Air Canada or other international airline partners
Here is the reward chart in North America (including Mexico):
For example:
- A flight from Mexico City to Acapulco covers a distance of 190 miles. This flight will cost 6,000 Aeroplan points.
- A flight from Mexico City to Cancun with Aeromar covers a distance of 799 miles. This flight will cost 10,000 Aeroplan points.
These are the costs you will find for most destinations served by Aeromar from Mexico.
So, for example, with a welcome offer like the one for the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card, you could get between 5 and 12 flights with Aeromar using your Aeroplan points!
Earn Aeroplan points with Aeromar
Aeroplan Members can earn Aeroplan Points based on distance flown on all scheduled flights operated by Aeromar:
