In all the examples below, taxes are included.

150,000 Marriott Bonvoy points can be earned by two people.

For example, each person subscribes to the Marriott Bonvoy^® American Express^®* Card. It offers 50,000 points by charging $1,500 in purchases to the card within the first three months of membership.

This will result in just over 100,000 points.

In addition, this card gives you one free night stay per year at annual renewal, worth 35,000 points or less.

There are some great options for holiday travel in Canada!

Soak up the enchanting atmosphere of Quebec City this holiday season as you celebrate New Year’s Day. Use 134,000 points for 2 nights at the Marriott Quebec City Downtown hotel in a room accommodating up to four people. This will save you $752.

On December 31, celebrate with friends and family on Grande Allée to welcome 2024.

Spending New Year’s Day in New York is an experience in itself. But it’s very expensive!

Staying at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park or The St.Regis New York requires 124,000 points per night.

To say goodbye to 2023 and welcome 2024 in dazzling style, you can celebrate the end of the year with a room with a butler at your service. These 124,000 points save you CAD 1,871.

To make the fun last, there are other options for staying longer in New York City.

The vast majority of Marriott Bonvoy hotels located in Manhattan are 60,000 points per night. With the Moxy NYC Times Square, you get away with 140,000 points for 2 nights, instead of paying around $1,524 CAD.

In early January 2024, The Westin Jersey City Newport is available for 137,000 points. This is valid for 5 nights, including one free night. Perfect for visiting Carlo’s Bakery, located about 2 kilometers from the hotel.

With 123,000 points, you can relax for 6 nights at the City Express Suites by Marriott Playa del Carmen. This saves $1,488 CAD. City Express hotels have recently joined the Marriott Bonvoy program, offering more points-based accommodation options in Latin American countries.

For around 50,000 points per night for the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort during the holiday season, this is a good option. Especially since each night costs about $440 CDN!

Since these rooms have no view, you can negotiate an upgrade with a few tricks or with the help of Elite status.

For a luxurious seaside stay, 131,800 points entitles you to spend from December 31, 2023 to January 2, 2024 at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort & Spa. That’s a value of $3,879!

To stretch your Madrid pleasure, there’s AC Hotel Los Vascos. You can spend 7 nightsthere this holiday season for 147,000 points! A value of $1,708.

These costs and points were valid as of the end of November 2023. They may therefore fluctuate over time.

After making a reservation in points, check the number of points required in the following weeks for the same period.
